The Minds Alive Powerbook

The Minds Alive Powerbook is about the idea of a revolutionary new approach to learning and achievement that empowers us to excel in the pursuit of our visions and aspirations. It is, in addition about developing our creative potential, on both individual and corporate levels and about navigating the discontinuity of our rapidly accelerated age. The older traditional skills which are presently being taught within our regular channels simply are not adequate for dealing with events moving at electric speed and we need to supplement these skills with critical perceptual skills. This powerbook is, thus, about the development of these perceptual skills essential to our ability to succeed in the new global environment.

The Play Factor
The Ultimate Learning Tool
A Learning Tool Like No Other

The play factor is a unique learning tool for breaking through barriers that hold us back from achieving a greater realization of our potential. It is an exploratory learning tool for opening up our minds and lives to the vast potential within us and the world around us. Above all, it is a tool for helping us build bridges across the things that divide us, to those things that unite us in tapping the great power that exists within each and every one of us and in all things, great and small. The play factor is, indeed, the ultimate learning tool, a learning tool like no other.

Skills of the 21st Century

An exploratory approach to learning and achievement is the real future of education in our global world today. There is no other approach or set of skills that can deal as effectively with the massive flow of information and complex kinds of situations and events of our fast moving age. This is true in business as it is in education. It is true also in the social, political, professional, health and wellness sectors . In fact, it is true in all aspects of our society.

It is virtually impossible to deal traditionally with the vastly increased flow of information and complex situations of our present speeded up world conditions. What is required under these conditions is that we see beneath the surface appearance of things and learn to identify and work with the structural patterns and elements that make these “things” what they are. It is equally important for us to learn to “see” the relationships between these structural patterns and elements. This is an exploratory process of learning to identify, sort and process information pertaining to our interests and endeavors. It is largely a matter of pattern recognition, of learning “to see” the structural patterns within this information and the way these patterns interact with one another to produce their different effects. It is, more specifically, a matter of perceptual skill development.
